Annual Outing 2024 - Event Information and Timeline

Fellow golfers,

 

With just 3 days to go to the start of the 2024 Chartered Accountants annual golf outing, we have emailed you the timesheet for Friday and Saturday.  We will be using the County Sligo computer system in addition to the society competition records so there are a few points you need to be aware of:

·       Please bring or have available your WHS number.

·       You must log into the computer, choose the visitor category, and select to enter the CAI golf Society competition – an instruction sheet will be beside each computer.

·       You must record your Course handicap and your playing handicap on your card.

·       On completing your round, you must enter your score into the computer and give your signed card to one of the Committee recorders

Lastly please be at the first tee 0 mins before your tee time and above all enjoy the day, the golf and the company. Finally, please see below event running order and timesheet. Please note timesheets are subject to change.

Thursday, 23rd May

7.30pm               First arrivals! Dinner in Austies.

Two tables booked for 7.30pm. Kitchen closes at 8pm. Orders can be made by phone if people are running late. 071 911 7786

 

Friday, 24^th May

10.40am             Registration begins at the bar County Sligo Golf Club

11am – 14.50    Tee times

6.30 & 8.30        Dinner in Fish and Bean - Two sittings    

10pm                  Prizegiving & Photographs

11pm – 2am      Taxi shuttle from Fish & Bean to Radisson (and accommodation within 5km radius of Rosses Point)         

                            

Saturday, 28^th May

10.40am             Registration begins at the bar in County Sligo Golf Club

11am – 2.50pm Tee times

12 noon              Social golfers golf lesson

1pm                    Social golfers’ lunch – soup and sandwiches bar

2pm                    Social golf competition begins.

7.30pm               Bell Cup & Prize giving in the bar overlooking the 18^th green

8pm                    Prize giving and AGM.

8.30pm               Captain’s Dinner at County Sligo Golf Club

11pm – 2am      Shuttle from Golf Club to Radisson (and accommodation within 5km radius of Rosses Point)
